Pay Details: $55.00 to $62.00 per hour

Mainframe IMS Application DBA job responsibilities include:
- Administering IMS application databases and performing performance monitoring.
- Conducting backup, recovery, and troubleshooting of IMS database applications.
- Collaborating with application teams to resolve DBRC issues.
- Supporting system administration functions and disaster recovery plans.
- Providing after-hours support for nightly batch schedules and related tasks.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 years of Experience in IMS database administration.
- Proficiency in DBRC and IBM IMS utilities.
- Experience with mainframe systems administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IMS database issues.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery and system upgrade processes.
- Strong understanding of mainframe hardware and software configurations.
- Experience with performance tuning and database optimization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
