What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Akkodis?
Looking for a Maintenance Technician in the job market that is open to a great opportunity.
This role is a 6 month contract to hire, onsite in Medford, MA- need to live within 10mi.
The target pay rate is $25/hr-$30/hr W2; Rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Skill Requirements:
- Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and routine maintenance tasks. Capable of identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Basic maintenance/upkeep around the grounds, ensure drains are not clogged, HVAC systems externally are in good shape, if major issues and must be able to communicate with vendors
- Basic commercial electricity experience and awareness of safety standards
- Ability to read blue prints
- Experience with hot water tanks and mixing valves
- Organized, solid communication, solid follow up, ability to complete tasks.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to building maintenance and safety systems. Ability to perform work safely and follow established protocols for hazardous situations.
