Akkodis is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer for a contract position with a client in Urbana, OH. As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
The ideal candidate will have experience with time study of manufacturing and/or assembly operations, as well as the ability to understand part and assembly BOM structure.
Key responsibilities include reading, understanding, and creating manufacturing work instructions, utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Projects, Visio, and Outlook. Experience with SAP ERP system and Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification are preferred.
You will also be responsible for identifying capital projects, submitting requests, and collaborating with purchasing and capitalization teams to complete projects. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
