What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Quality Engineer position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is Seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer as a contractor for the location of Lincolnshire IL. It is a contract Position for 6 months. Ideally Looking for a candidate with experience in Aerospace/Aviation Industry.
Pay Range: $20 - $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Duties
- Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent work experience. Gather detailed measurements and test records. Experience with data logging equipment a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude - build test panels.
- Problem solving skill /troubleshooting electrical
- Strong work ethic. Good Communicator. Detail oriented. Follow instructions. Focus on results. Work with team toward team objectives.
- Follow Regulatory procedures, documentation, working with Quality, Test Engineering and Regulatory engineers. Concise evaluation and communication of issues. Problem solving processes such as Fishbone Diagrams, 5S, PFMEA, Black Belt, etc.
- Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.
- Requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
