Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled Metrology Technologist I (Scientific) for a 12-month contract with a client.
The ideal candidate will have experience in performing operations necessary for calibration of equipment, including testing, adjusting, and maintaining measuring and indicating instruments to conform to set standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine calibrations of laboratory and/or production equipment, following SOPs and in accordance with relevant quality standards.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Provide assistance to more senior technicians on daily tasks.
- Accurately follow oral and written procedures in calibrating basic measurement equipment, and performing testing procedures.
- Recognize deviations from the normal results.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience in metrology or related field.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
