What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Design Engineer position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer for an aerospace manufacturer in the Gainesville, TX area. This is an onsite contract position with a pay range of $35 an hour to $55 an hour, depending on education, experience and location. Design coordination of seats and seat components. Coordinates changes with other internal company departments, vendors, and customers. Coordinates work load and assignments with DE I postions within the team. Works independently with oversight from Team Supervisor
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineer/Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering plus 2 years related design experience.
Masters Degree with 1 year related design experience
CATIA V5 or higher and/or PRO/Engineer
- APQP, D&PFMEA, Control Plan, Problem Solving (8D, 5W2H)
- CATIA V.5
