What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Designer position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Designer for a 09 month Contract with a client located in Solon, OH.
Pay Rate: $25-30/hr. on W2
Location: Solon, OH
Job Summary:
- This designer will proficiently use computer software, including REVIT and AutoCAD. This person will be a part of an engaged team, and communication and organizational skills are required.
Responsibilities:
- Design plans using computer-aided design software such as REVIT & AutoCAD.
- Experience in electrical or architectural design.
- Familiarity with engineering specifications (NFPA, UL, NEC, etc.) and lightning protection are a plus.
- Interpret customer requirements and generate technical documentation to meet those requirements.
- Ability to produce detailed drawings for documentation.
Qualifications and experience:
- Associate’s degree preferred, equivalent education, and drafting and design experience.
- 3 years of experience with CAD and/or BIM software.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP/PLM Systems).
