Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Designer for a Contract job with a client in Sunnyvale, CA(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate will have advanced computer skills and a strong grasp of electrical currents and machinery, responsible for designing blueprints and prototypes.
Rate Range : $70 / hour to $75 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Mechanical designer job responsibilities include :
Creating detailed designs and blueprints for mechanical systems and components
Collaborating with engineers to ensure design functionality and feasibility
Performing stress and performance calculations to validate designs
Modifying existing designs based on testing and feedback
Assisting in the creation and testing of prototypes and final products
Desired Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
5 years of experience in mechanical design
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay Details : $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
