Akkodis is seeking a Mobile Developer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid). Responsibilities include designing, developing, and prototyping Android applications, writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium, and collaborating with product teams to implement new features and updates.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Mobile Developer job responsibilities include:
Designing, developing, and prototyping Android applications for both phone and tablet platforms
Writing and maintaining automated tests using frameworks like Appium
Collaborating with product teams on new ideas, designs, and prototypes
Implementing application updates and ensuring app quality and performance
Identifying and resolving application bottlenecks and bugs before final release
Publishing applications to the App Store and maintaining the codebase
Keeping up to date with current and upcoming features in relevant platforms
Driving best practices for continuous improvement of products, processes, and tools.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin and/or Java.
Proven experience with writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium.
Strong knowledge of Core Java, Kotlin, and experience with iOS development, including Objective-C and Swift.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
