Akkodis is seeking a Network Permitting Specialist for a Contract job with a client in Canonsburg PA(Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have knowledge of municipal processes, codes, and ordinances.
Rate Range: $25.56/hour to $42.61/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Network Permitting Specialist job responsibilities include:
Preparing and submitting entitlement applications, permits, and agreements for communications facility installations.
Navigating municipal processes, codes, and ordinances to ensure compliance.
Coordinating with local governments and jurisdictions to facilitate approval.
Managing the permitting process from submission to approval, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Urban Planning, Engineering, or Environmental Science).
3 years of experience in permitting, land use, or telecommunications.
Strong knowledge of municipal codes, ordinances, and permitting processes.
Experience working with local governments and jurisdictions on infrastructure projects.
Top Skills Needed:
Knowledge of Zoning and Permitting processes; Telecommunications and tower experience a plus
Working knowledge of 6409 and Eligible facility request (EFR) timelines
Collaboration

Ability to handle competing priorities

Pay Details: $25.56 to $42.61 per hour
