Akkodis is looking for a Procurement Specialist in Bridgewater, NJ, who will support raw material ordering, receiving, and inventory management. The candidate will utilize NesTMS and GLOBE SAP systems to ensure efficient procurement operations. Responsibilities include issuing purchase orders (POs) and upholding Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Policies for the site. Here are the specs of the role:
Pay Range: $25-$30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Type: 6-8 months contract.
Schedule: 7 am-3 pm (onsite or hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure appropriate raw material ordering, receiving, and inventory management through NesTMS and GLOBE SAP systems Issue POs
- Uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Policies for the site.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service mindset
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing
- Experience in procurement for a manufacturing site, R&D office, or distribution center
- Highly competent in personal computing skills and proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP software
