Akkodis is seeking a Purchasing and Invoicing Specialist with a client located in Maricopa AZ. Looking for a candidate who can handle all aspects of purchasing and accounts payable processing.
Pay Range: $24/hr - $27/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (7:00 AM - 4 PM MST)
Purchasing and Invoicing Specialist Job Summary:
Role Summary:
The Purchasing and Invoicing Specialist manages purchasing and accounts payable for the Arizona Proving Grounds, coordinating with the Business Operations Specialist and the US Testing Finance Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing (60%)
- Facilitate and ensure compliance with purchasing processes.
- Place orders for goods/services, monitor procurement status and ensure proper documentation.
- Manage office supply stock and place replacement orders as needed.
- Communicate updates to APG departments.
- Track and renew leases, manage capital purchase orders, and handle vendor setup.
- Compile Statements of Requirements, Scopes of Work, and Specifications for bidding.
- Act as the point of contact for vendor and customer contracts, submitting them to the contract management system.
Accounts Payable (40%)
- Process incoming invoices, obtain approvals, and ensure timely payments.
- Enter invoices and material data into the tracking system.
- Resolve invoice issues with vendors.
- File financial invoices and assist in maintaining safety and hazardous materials records.
