Akkodis is seeking a Python- AWS developer for a Contract job with a client in Richmond, VA (Hybrid) . The candidate will design enterprise solutions using Python and AWS, develop scalable web applications and RESTful APIs, and implement security protocols such as OAuth for API management.
Rate Range : $50 / hour to $55 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Python- AWS developer job responsibilities include :
Designing enterprise solutions using Python and AWS stack, focusing on serverless architectures and microservices.
Implementing design patterns and object-oriented programming, utilizing AWS libraries like boto3 and AWS Powertools for interacting with services such as S3, SNS, and Lambda.
Developing highly scalable web applications and RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and scalability.
Working on DevOps tasks, including CI / CD pipeline management using tools like CDK and CloudFormation Templates.
Managing cloud infrastructure on AWS services such as ECS, EC2, Lambda, and S3.
Ensuring secure API integration by applying industry-standard protocols, including OAuth.
Conducting unit testing and performance testing with tools like pytest and coverage.
Communicating effectively with clients to ensure requirements are met and projects are delivered on time.
Participating in design reviews and optimizing solutions for better performance and reliability.
Desired Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python and AWS.
Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions using AWS services like Lambda, EC2, S3, and DynamoDB.
Strong background in object-oriented programming, microservices architecture, and API development with secure protocols like OAuth.

Pay Details : $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
