Akkodis is seeking a Computer Vision Quality Analyst for a hybrid, 6 month contract opportunity with our Fortune 500 IT/ Internet Marketplace Platforms client located in NY, NY.
Rate: $47-$52/hr. on W2 The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
About the Role
As a Computer Vision Quality Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in validating system outputs, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring high-quality labeled datasets for machine learning models. Your work will contribute to improving accuracy, performance, and overall system effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine labeled datasets for training computer vision models
- Annotate grocery shelf images with product locations, boundaries, and classifications
- Validate system outputs and document errors for improvement
- Monitor dashboards to ensure system accuracy and detect anomalies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance model performance
- Analyze trends, generate reports, and provide actionable insights
Must Have Requirements:
- Experience with image annotation and data labeling tools (e.g., LabelImg, RectLabel, Roboflow)
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret test results and validate system effectiveness
- Ability to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations
- Proficiency in productivity tools (Google Suite, Microsoft Office)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with computer vision systems or machine learning models
- Familiarity with retail, grocery operations, or inventory management systems
- Experience with task automation, scripting, or workflow management
