Akkodis is seeking a – “ Quality Specialist 1” for a Contract position with a client located Carlsbad, CA.
Pay Range : $20-$26 / hr (The rate / salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.).
Job Description :
The candidate will have 2 years of experience at performing incoming inspection (IQA) on raw materials (wafers, PCBAs, components, housing, pull tabs, etc.) and outgoing inspection (OQA) on completed assemblies (modules).
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ability to read prints and drawings to determine critical measurements.
- Ability to understand procedures and apply accept / reject criteria to the inspection results.
- A complete understanding of AQL sampling plans.
- Ability to understand and apply accept / reject criteria.
- Ability to generate NCMR's and communicate to all levels of the organization the reasoning for rejecting material.
- Experience using microscopes, micrometers, CMM and other tools used for inspection.
- Experience with MS Excel spreadsheets, MSWord
- Ability to interface with production, engineering and management to communicate issues that arise during inspection.
