Akkodis is seeking an R&D Engineer for a 12-month contract in Plymouth, MN 55442 (Onsite)
Title : R&D Engineer
Location : Plymouth, MN 55442 (Onsite)
Contract : 12 months Contract
Pay Rate
45-$50 / hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Working hours : 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
Interview preferences : phone screen, bring top candidates for onsite interviews
Job Description :
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical or related Engineering degree
- 1-2 years of engineering experience required in a regulated field Preferred Qualifications :
- 1-2 years’ experience in med device
- Exposure to a variety of manufacturing processes used in medical devices, specifically deflectable sheaths and / or EP Catheters preferred
- Familiarity with ultrasound, catheter ring-on-wire electrodes, magnetic location systems, and catheter manufacturing techniques
- Worked with an electronic document control system (Windchill, etc.)
- SolidWorks or other CAD experience
Local candidates highly preferred – okay with non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expense
