Akkodis is seeking a Risk Assessment Consultant for a 1-year contract position with one of our direct clients based in Saint Paul, MN (100% Remote).
Rate Range: $60-70/hr. On w2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Job Description: The vendor will provide a Risk Assessment/Audit of the Paid Leave Project/Program work & Application Build. The Paid Leave application will go live in Nov 2025 with a full launch in Jan 2026. The vendor should have experience auditing portals & applications in development using agile methodologies and provide insights on both the application and team workflows.
Phase 1 Deliverables:
- Initial Risk Assessment:
- Identify and assess project risks, their likelihood, and severity.
- Provide mitigation strategies and a detailed risk management plan.
- Review application build roadmap, team documentation, and operational integrity.
- Assess security, fraud risks, and internal controls.
- Present findings to key stakeholders.
- Initial Project Audit:
- Evaluate project compliance with policies and standards.
- Identify risks and issues affecting project success.
- Provide audit findings, remediation plans, and a final audit report.
Future Phases Deliverables:
- Additional Risk Assessments and Project Audits.
- Technical, Security, and Accessibility Reviews.
Desired Vendor Qualifications:
- Experience in Risk Assessments, Project Audits, Security Reviews for government entities.
- Experience auditing high-profile technical builds during development.
Desired Resource Qualifications:
- Experience in Risk Assessments, Project Audits, and Technical Reviews.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, ITIL, AWS Architect, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, CSM, CSPO, etc.).
