Akkodis is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a Direct Hire (FTE) position, and this is an Onsite role in Omaha, NE. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in Data Engineering, SQL, DataStage, Python, ETL, and GitLab.
Salary Range: $110K-$130K annually. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 8 years of IT experience, including at least 6 years of progressive experience in relational database management systems.
- 6 years of SQL experience.
- 4 years' experience using Python.
- Demonstrate experience in data engineering with 8 years of experience using ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, DataStage).
- Strong relational database knowledge, including a broad understanding of current and prospective data architecture and database performance tuning.
Preferred:
- SQL programming in a DB2 environment
- SQL programming in SQL Server environment
- Workday programming experience
- Experience with Docker/Jenkins
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, or developing others in a professional environment
