Akkodis is seeking an Sr. Frontend UI Developer for a direct full time job opportunity with a client located in the New York City. Local candidates are needed as this is an onsite position 2-3 days each week from the start. The Sr. Frontend UI Developer will work on a mission-critical system, where you will be responsible for both upgrading existing applications and developing new web applications that meet the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability.
Salary Range : $145-155K base, competitive benefits offering and more
Sr. Frontend UI Developer - job responsibilities include :
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using full-stack technologies including REACT.js, Node.js, Next.js and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Upgrade and refactor existing applications to improve functionality and performance.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that follows best practices.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate backend services.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Basic understanding of good UX / UI design to implement intuitive user interfaces.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of mission-critical systems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply them to improve development processes and software quality.
