Akkodis seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Lexington, NC. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's manufacturing facility.
Your responsibilities will include performing electrical work in the installation, operation, maintenance, modifications, service, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and related systems. You will also provide technical assistance in the purchase of new or replacement equipment and advise staff on capabilities, compatibility, installation, and operations.
- Ensure electrical distribution systems are safe, meet power requirements, and comply with applicable codes.
- Provide technical guidance on electrical system design and implementation.
- Contribute to the development of training programs for electrical technicians.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of power, hydraulic, and mechanical concepts, as well as experience with automation technology (Siemens PLC preferred). A two or four-year degree in a related field (preferred) and minimum four years of progressive experience in similar roles are essential.
