Akkodis is seeking a Splunk Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) . The ideal candidate will manage and expand our Splunk environment, drive performance improvements, and collaborate with teams to implement automation tools using Lean-Agile methodology.
Rate Range : $65 / hour to $70 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Splunk Engineer job responsibilities include :
- Manage and expand the Splunk environment to ensure performance, scalability, and sustainability.
- Design and implement system architecture for Splunk deployments across the enterprise.
- Develop and maintain automation tools for CI / CD workflows using tools like Terraform, OpenShift, and Bitbucket.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation tools into the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Splunk infrastructure and automation tools.
- Optimize Splunk performance through continuous monitoring and improvements.
- Maintain and update documentation for automation tools, processes, and Splunk systems.
- Work with infrastructure teams to integrate automation tools with relevant infrastructure components.
- Support Level 3 escalations and troubleshoot complex issues related to Splunk functionality.

Pay Details : $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
