Akkodis is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Saint Paul, MN . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining software designs and test cases based on strategic analysis and requirement specifications.
Rate Range : $74 / hour to $78 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Staff Software Engineer job responsibilities include :
Developing, enhancing, and maintaining software, test designs, and code based on strategic analysis and requirements
Debugging, troubleshooting, and isolating software issues while offering strategic solutions and recommendations
Writing, updating, and executing test cases, procedures, and reporting results
Supporting and contributing to root-cause analysis of software failures and ensuring compliance with design controls.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and validate requirements
Providing feedback and supporting reviews held by other engineers on related projects
Applying technical expertise and creativity to solve complex technical problems using data analysis and sound judgment.
Desired Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
10 years of experience in C / C development for embedded systems or Linux
Strong experience with software development in embedded environments and micro-controllers
Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and solving complex technical problems with minimal supervision.

Pay Details : $74.00 to $78.00 per hour
