Contract to Hire Opportunity
Location: Onsite Newark, NJ
Rate Range: $45/hour to $48/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
- Connecting with GE Supplier Quality focals (PQE) to assess S-1000 requirements and site gaps.
- Develop and update procedures and processes that will be compliant to GE S-1000 Supplier requirements.
- Perform training to relevant stakeholders and performers to understand process.
- Achieve quality deliverables for F414 APQP project.
- Experience with conducting supplier audits and developing quality control plans.
- Familiar with ISO9001 QMS requirements. IATF16949 is a plus.
- Ability to communicate and direct supplier activities at the management level.
- Proven results in meeting customer requirements and expectations.
- Ability to define and execute a project using project management techniques
- Action Plan for Gap Closure.
- Quality System Documentation Completion
- PFMEA
- MSA
- CpK
- Control Plan
- PPAP Package
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a supplier quality engineering role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with quality management software a plus.
