Akkodis is seeking a –“Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist – Supply Chain” for a Contract position with a client located Findlay, OH/Canton, OH/San Antonio, TX (4 days onsite).
Pay Range: $52 -$56/hr. (The rate/salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.).

Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist – Supply Chain to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will manage and maintain high-quality master data critical to supply chain processes including materials, vendors, customers, and logistics data. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely data across ERP systems and collaborate cross-functionally to support procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and validate master data records related to supply chain functions including material master, BOMs, vendor master, and plant data.
- Collaborate with procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, and finance teams to ensure data meets operational and compliance requirements.
- Drive adherence to data standards, naming conventions, and business rules across supply chain systems and processes.
- Support system integrations and ERP implementations by cleaning, migrating, and validating supply chain-related data.
- Identify and correct data quality issues through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation for supply chain data processes, controls, and governance.
- Ensure compliance with global data governance policies, as well as industry regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO, SOX if applicable).
- Monitor and report on master data quality KPIs, trends, and exception reporting.
- Participate in or lead projects to improve data management processes and enhance system capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3 years of experience working in a supply chain environment with a focus on master data or SAP ERP systems.
- Excel expert
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes such as procurement, inventory management, planning, and logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to interface between business and technical teams
