What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Administrator position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is seeking a System Admin (Performance) for a Contract with a client located Southlake, TX 76092 (Hybrid) and ideally strong hands-on Unix/Linux/Solaris/and Shell scripting
Rate Range: $50-55/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Responsibility
Systems Administrator experience with UNIX / SOLARIS / LINUX OS relative to SHELL scripting, VMSTAT, SAR and Statspack. Experience with performance testing methodology, such as volume, soak and response time tests. Demonstrated ability to build or configure tools to conduct performance tests. Strong overall architectural understanding of large systems development with a focus on performance. Good working knowledge of operating systems, databases and programming languages (both procedural and object). Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
