Akkodis currently has a Direct Hire IT Systems Analyst / ERP Administrator position with a client located in Cleveland, OH. This is an onsite position, so the person needs to live within 30 miles of Cleveland, OH. No C2C or agencies allowed with this position.
Pay/Salary Range: $105000-110000.
This person will be responsible for the NetSuite ERP application. Must have experience with an ERP system and must come from the manufacturing industry. Should be familiar with business processes like production, inventory, supply chain, financials, pricing etc. Will work with business users to identify problems or new functionality to be added. Must be able to write scripts to do any customizations. NetSuite had its own scripting language called SuiteScript, but experience with any scripting language is fine. May do a little work in PowerBI to automate some reporting functions.
The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing business information systems to meet organizational needs. This role involves managing and enhancing the company’s ERP system, primarily Oracle NetSuite, while providing technical support, ensuring data integrity, and aligning systems with business objectives. The IT Systems Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams, troubleshoots system issues, and drives continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Essential Functions:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement business information systems, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Perform system installation and configuration activities as required.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders and end-users to analyze current systems, gather requirements, and recommend process improvements.
- Design and code NetSuite application modifications, including testing, debugging, and production deployment.
- Analyze data using various reporting techniques to support decision-making.
- Monitor business systems, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions.
- Document user requirements, establish project scope, and define strategies for implementing system changes.
- Develop and maintain NetSuite-based user work instructions.
- Provide Oracle/NetSuite ERP system support to users and ensure system data integrity, maintenance, and enhancements.
- Code application enhancements using SuiteScript and JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain NetSuite Reports, Saved Searches, and SuiteAnalytics Workbooks.
- Function as a Business Analyst supporting all company functions.
- Ensure data security and maintain the Disaster Recovery Plan.
Required Experience
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
- Experience with object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly SuiteScript and JavaScript, for ERP system customization and automation.
- Naturally curious and driven to independently learn and master new concepts.
- Skilled at managing multiple high-priority tasks and adapting to shifting priorities effectively.
