Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing the company's networked systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality IT service delivery.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, OR
• Associate degree with 5 years of relevant experience, OR
• 8 years of related experience in system administration.
• Certifications: ITIL, recent MCSA, or other IT-related certifications are preferred.

Required Technical Skills

• 3-5 years of experience with:
• Domain controllers, Active Directory, Group Policy management.
• Working in a Microsoft Windows enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in performance monitoring software.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell; automation and data manipulation skills are a plus.
• Exposure to VMware (Private Cloud), Linux, and public cloud environments is an advantage.
• Experience with SSO and MFA solutions is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database operations.
• Experience in high-availability fault-tolerant architectures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data manipulation and presentation material creation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Systems Administrator with daily operational tasks.
• Deploy and enhance applications, software, and operating systems.
• Implement security controls for Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, MDM solutions, and servers.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain computer components, software, and virtual servers.
• Develop and manage automation processes to streamline operations.
• Document system configurations, processes, and service records.
• Conduct server and security audits, perform backups, and execute disaster recovery strategies.
• Configure and manage MDM solutions, ensuring optimal system architecture and development.
• Plan and perform maintenance, patching, and vulnerability remediation for servers.
• Monitor system performance and generate detailed performance reports.
• Resolve hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools, document resolutions, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Address service desk tickets and fulfill IT service requests.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT services.
