Akkodis is seeking a Team Technician - Weekend Shift 5 for a Contract job with a client in Southington, CT . The ideal candidate is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated and semi-automated machinery while ensuring production equipment operates correctly.
Note : Weekend Shift 5 (Saturdays and Sundays - 6 : 45 AM to 7 : 15 PM; Mondays and Tuesdays - 6 : 45 AM to 3 : 15 PM)
Rate Range : $25 / hour to $27 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Team Technician - Weekend Shift 5 job responsibilities include :
Troubleshooting and repairing automated and semi-automated assembly production equipment, including sensors, controllers, servomotors, and pneumatic systems.
Performing diagnostic checks and isolating equipment issues to ensure continuous operation and quality standards.
Conducting preventive maintenance tasks, machine changeovers, and ensuring proper setup for production.
Completing shift start-up paperwork, including process parameters and traceability checklists.
Assisting with machine adjustments, providing solutions to production issues, and supporting the team with operational improvements.
Engaging in machine troubleshooting for various production stations, ensuring efficient production and addressing any downtime or quality issues.
Maintaining 5S standards in work areas and assisting in the training of new technicians.
Desired Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED; technical school background is desirable.
Up to 3 years of manufacturing experience, with a preference for experience with automated and semi-automated equipment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems, including knowledge of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Ability to perform diagnostic checks, equipment repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks, with a strong focus on continuous operational improvements.

Pay Details : $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
