Akkodis is Seeking a Technician for a Contract job with client based at Oxnard CA 93030 (Onsite). Ideally looking for candidates from Automotive domain.
Pay Range: $25-$33/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Qualifications (Skills & Experiences & Education)
3-5 years job related experience. Automotive background & technical experience.
Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Automotive vocational technical training
• Dealership product training
• Certificate in Automotive Technology
• At least two ASE Certifications
Skills needed to perform the job
• Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic
• Valid drivers license with good DMV record
• Computer savvy - skilled in use of software / Engineering tools
• Integration - joining people, processes or systems
• Problem solving
Desired
• Diagnostic experience including VAS testers
• Self-organized
• Organize and maintain a clean work environment
• Resource management
• German and/or Spanish language skills
• Forklift certification and operation
Physical requirements, travel requirements, work schedule, etc.
• Work schedule based on business requirements (min. 40 hours / week) including occasional Saturday or occasional overtime, core work hours 7AM - 4PM
• Occasional domestic travel required for business & training and possibly to international locations - very limited
• Often driving a motor vehicle, incl. performance class, special training required
• Commonly sit at a desk or table
• Frequent walk, stand, or stop. Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
