Telecommunications Field Technician

Akkodis is Seeking a Telecommunications Field Technician contractor for the location of Bullhead AZ. It is a contract Position for 3 months.

Pay Range: $20 - $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Duties

• Field verification of an existing providers’ network. Contractor will field verify the existing network in the GIS online environment against current field conditions. The Contractor will collect field data & provide it in the online GIS environment and by PDF. The data will be used to verify & update the providers’ internal network systems.
• Field verification/Equipment Inventory services shall include the following:
• All Nodes, Line Extenders & Amplifiers
• Geotag all active components
• Missing &/or misplaced actives to be identified with photography
• Geotag Missing &/or misplaced passive components
• Missing &/or misplaced passives to be identified with photography
• Provide Olsson weekly production schedule with milestones tied to total mileage
• Weekly production meeting
• GPS Data shall be collected with a Field Data Collector
• All notes, comments, and/or revision mark-ups shall be completed in the PDF files provided.
• Field verified data collected & uploaded daily
• All missing equipment (active, passive, etc) shall be identified along all as-built plant provided; however, when a cable branch is not identified in the as-built documentation it is not a requirement to pick up the field data for the non-identified branch. The contractor shall note the starting location in the GIS environment and inform that it was encountered.
• Drop a data point in the online GIS environment with potential rear easements & provide photography
• Drop a data point in the online GIS environment with construction obstacles & provide photography
• Drop a data point in the online GIS environment for hospitals, schools, jails, & banks etc...
