Akkodis is seeking a Test Technician for a 12 Contract position with a client located in Arden Hills, MN
Pay Range: $35/hr - $38/hr (The rate may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Position Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and experience in the use of test equipment relating to tensile testing, microscope measurement, electrical measurement systems, etc. However, if the candidate has experience operating any type of complex equipment, many of these things can be learned on the job.
Duties
- Most testing is mechanical in nature – pull testing, flex testing, torque testing, extension/retraction testing with some high voltage/current testing. Most testing is semi-automated with meticulous setup requirements.
- Electrical/mechanical troubleshooting is uncommon.
- PC knowledge/experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and file sharing/saving abilities is also required.
- This role will involve R&D testing of medical products (leads and catheters). A wide range of tests could be performed, including X-ray analysis, tensile testing, fatigue testing, and electrical testing.
Qualifications
- AA Degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline (assembler, operator, test technician) and 1 year of related experience.
- 4-year degree applicants such as mechanical/electrical engineers will not be considered.
