Akkodis is seeking a Tester for a Contract job with a client in Mechanicsburg, PA or Orlando, FL (Hybrid). You will design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing, with a focus on eligibility and benefits programs.

Rate Range : $35 / hour to $40 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Tester job responsibilities include :

Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Work closely with the QA team, developers, and other stakeholders to validate new features and enhancements.

Utilize tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG to automate testing processes.

Build and execute test suites and test cases based on developed requirements.

Conduct and manage various levels of testing, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.

Develop and maintain test documentation, including test scenarios, test cases, test data, defect reports, and test metrics.

Use SQL for database testing and ensure data integrity across systems.

Track and report bugs using tools like IBM Clear Quest, ensuring efficient bug resolution.

Desired Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

3 years of experience in software testing, with expertise in test automation and eligibility-based systems.

Strong knowledge of Integrated Eligibility applications and experience with Medical Assistance, Food Stamp, and Cash Assistance programs.

Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG, along with solid SQL skills for database testing.

Pay Details : $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
