Job Description :
Under general supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, performs a variety of duties in receiving, issuing, handling, and accounting for inventory stock in the Warehouse. Candidates should have two years experience in a computer-aided warehousing operation, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintaining set quality standards and company Standard Operating Procedures
• Responsible for receiving, inventory, distribution, and daily reconciliation of product usage.
• Utilizes computer terminal to properly account for issues, returns, receipts of new materials and associated back orders; inputs essential data on all materials handled
• Conducts weekly cycle counts of inventory, monitors and suggests re-orders of product
• Documents inventory usage and waste
• Organizes and maintains inventory for efficient material storage and handling
• Maintains labeling system on each stock item
• Manually stocks inventory shelving with stock items received or returned
• Follows quality steps throughout the entire process.
• Assists quality check team members in inventory validation
• Performs regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment in warehouse area
• Additional responsibilities as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to read and understand written or verbal instructions, work specifications and use basic math.
• Results driven with high attention to detail
• This position requires frequent standing, sitting, carrying and walking.
• Bending and ability to lift up to 50lbs required
• Computer knowledge is required
• Ability to balance transactions
• Fast-paced, reliable, and detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and vendors; ability to organize items by broad and specific classifications
EDUCATION
• High school diploma or equivalent
