Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in industrial painting techniques and possess knowledge of materials handling, mechanical processes, and construction painting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers
- Apply paint using various methods such as brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Inspect surfaces for quality assurance post-painting
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Experience:
The successful candidate should have:
- Proficiency in industrial painting techniques
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical processes
- Ability to operate a forklift for materials handling
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of auto body repair is a plus
- Experience in construction painting is advantageous
- Ability to fabricate materials as needed
