Location : Austin, TX (#LI-Hybrid 3 Days a Week)

Pay Range : $35 - $40 per hour. on W2

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AML Investigations Quality Assurance Specialist to join client's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing investigations related to suspected money laundering and terrorism finance, ensuring adherence to required standards and processes, and assisting in filing suspicious activity reports. This position is central to enhancing compliance with applicable laws and regulations and reinforcing a culture of compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Navigating through complex data, including internal and external research, to compile well-documented research files for potentially filing SARs.
• Reviewing SAR and No SAR submissions by FIU Investigators for validity, accuracy, and adherence to FIU Procedures.
• Identifying, developing, and applying AML typologies, analytics, and investigative techniques.
• Presenting QA and intelligence gathering report results to the QA Manager and FIU senior management as appropriate.
• Supporting reviews of PEP escalations, Special Interest Persons (SIP) escalation, Registration model alerts, and Periodic EDD Reviews.
