The role involves scoping, executing, and delivering relevant data analytics projects to enhance decision-making and strategic planning. This position requires a blend of data cleansing, analytics, and the ability to simplify insights for stakeholders, and is suited for individuals with 3 - 7 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to analyze category effectiveness.
Scope and deliver data analytics projects tailored to stakeholder needs.
Cleanse and prepare data for analysis.
Create visually compelling reports and dashboards for insight sharing.
Simplify insights derived from data analytics to ensure comprehensibility for non-technical stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools
Strong experience with Excel
Capability in R and Python for data analysis
Industry Experience
Previous experience in a role requiring similar data analytics and visualization skills is preferred, especially within sectors that rely heavily on data-driven decision-making.
This is a hybrid role based preferably in San Jose, CA, open to candidates from San Francisco, CA, requiring on-site presence three days a week.
