Job Summary

This senior-level position requires a proactive Device Quality Manager (DQM) to oversee the quality of our products through comprehensive manufacturing processes. The DQM will be instrumental in developing and guiding the out-of-box audit process for new product introduction (NPI) and ensuring continuous product quality during the product's sustaining phase. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold and improve product quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop an out-of-box audit (OBA) process for factory production based on product use cases.
• Monitor production performance against quality goals, conduct factory audits, and lead failure analysis to determine root causes.
• Manage critical issues with a high sense of urgency and lead factory quality lessons to prevent repeated issues.
• Provide production quality health reports to management during the sustaining phase and drive continuous improvement.
• Initiate quality alerts for factory issues impacting customers and lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving activities.
  
  

Must-Have Skills:

• 5 years of working experience in engineering and/or quality with minimum of a BSME/BSIE/BSEE or equivalent training experience
• Expertise in RF and GPS antenna troubleshooting and satellite communication.
• Profound knowledge of assembly, manufacturing, and testing processes within a high-volume electronic consumer devices manufacturing environment.
