Job Summary :
We are seeking an Engineering Samples Coordinator for our Hardware Engineering – Restraints & Safety Electronics department in Newark, CA. The ideal candidate will manage the logistics and coordination of engineering samples, ensuring they arrive correctly and on time, maintaining inventory, and facilitating communication across teams. This role requires a proactive approach, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for part requirement, ordering, and tracking, ensuring engineering samples are delivered efficiently.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of test fixtures, including bucks and full vehicles, and manage logistic requests both internally and externally.
- Follow up on parts readiness, logistics, dispatch, and ensure parts inspection and inventory are updated post usage or scrap.
- Drive sessions with DREs / TPMs to coordinate material for testing and builds, maintaining a Purchase Order tracker from request through invoice approval.
- Proactively plan and coordinate activities, adding value to the team by facilitating steps and supporting needs actively.
