Primary Skills : Cisco Networking (Expert), Palo Alto Networking (Expert), VOIP (Advanced), Troubleshooting (Advanced), SD-WAN (Expert)Contract Type : W2 / C2CLocation : Corte Madera, CADuration : 6 months (Possible extension)Pay Range : $60 - $65 per hour on W2Job Summary : Join our dynamic Network Operations Team as a Systems Engineer, leveraging your expertise in data networks, network analysis, Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewalls, and VOIP technologies. You'll be an integral part of ensuring our large WAN environment across multiple data centers, offices, and stores operates flawlessly, with a focus on security and efficiency. This role demands a proactive troubleshooter capable of managing complex network infrastructure, ensuring maximum availability, security, and optimized performance.Key Responsibilities : Install, configure, and manage networking hardware including LANs, WANs, routers, switches, and firewalls.Ensure the stability and security of a large WAN environment by monitoring performance and implementing necessary changes.Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for network infrastructure support.Collaborate on cross-departmental IT projects and provide expert troubleshooting for network issues.Document network issues and maintain detailed records of network configurations, mappings, and service records.Must-Have Skills : Proficient in troubleshooting WLAN and tuning networks.Expertise in WAN / LAN, ethernet, MPLS, and transport technologies.Knowledge of network protocols including CoS, PoE, NTP, DNS, DHCP.Domain Experience Required : Experience in a Retail / eCommerce setting preferred, with an understanding of PCI and SOX Compliance standards.Familiarity with e-commerce technologies and a highly virtualized network environment is beneficial.Industry certifications desired : PAN and CiscoABOUT AKRAYAAkraya is an award-winning IT staffing firm consistently recognized for our commitment to excellence and a thriving work environment.
