The candidate will play a crucial role in automating tests for validating / qualifying various Cisco and 3rd party optics on Cisco hardware running SONiC. This role requires a mix of strong technical skills in network automation, proficiency in Python, and deep knowledge of optics.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Design and automate tests for 100G, 200G, 400G, and 800G optics across different port / breakout configurations.Utilize IXIA Traffic Generator APIs for test script automation.Execute Python scripts on IXIA and remote servers to conduct tests.Troubleshoot and debug network systems to ensure optimal performance.Collaborate closely with the development team to refine system architecture and deployment strategies.Must Have Skills : Extensive experience with optical technologies and network operating systems, specifically SONiC.Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.Solid understanding and practical experience with IXIA Traffic Generator APIs.Industry Experience : Prior experience in Networking and Optics within the tech industry is greatly preferred.ABOUT AKRAYAAkraya is an award-winning IT staffing firm consistently recognized for our commitment to excellence and a thriving work environment.
