Job Summary :
We are seeking a Python Software Engineer to design, enhance, and maintain object-oriented Python libraries and applications for manufacturing factory machine control and testing. The role involves developing back-end Linux software, with opportunities to work on front-end web development. This contractor position entails a 6-month initial term with the possibility of an extension to 12 months or permanent placement based on performance and project needs, requiring 5 days onsite.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain object-oriented Python applications for manufacturing contexts.
- Develop Pytest unit and integration tests for new and existing software.
- Collaborate with the team in a CI / CD environment using Git and Jenkins.
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from design to deployment.
- Provide documentation and support for developed applications.
