The Nurse Program Coordinator are professionals responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks that keep the program running smoothly
Responsibilities
- Determines the education needs of personnel, multi-disciplinary team members and others; implements patient and family education in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Provides leadership for the team in collaboration with the program medical director.
- Oversees office operations for the program
- Maintains records and files for the program
- Collects and analyzing data on the program
- Ensures compliance with program regulations
- Plans and schedules program events
- Monitoring program budgets
- Helps with marketing efforts for the program
- Prepares required reports
- Other duties as required.
Technical Expertise
- Experience managing all aspects of programs is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Epic or similar EMR software is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required. Master’s degree in related field is preferred.
- Certification License in related field is required (RN is required to hold current license in Ohio.
- Years of relevant experience: 2- 4 years is preferred.
- Years of experience supervising: None.
