Remote Pediatric Evening Teleradiologist

Position Description
Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatric Radiology Department is seeking a pediatric radiologist to work as a 100% remote “evening hawk” teleradiologist, using a 1 week on and 2 weeks off model, with work hours of 3pm – 10pm EST. Work consists of 100% pediatric imaging, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and occasional MRI (neuroradiology and body imaging cases included) primarily from the emergency room, urgent cares, and inpatient units. The qualified applicant must be board certified or board-eligible in pediatric radiology. The applicant will need to have or obtain an Ohio medical license. (Ohio is an IMLCC participating state).
The position as listed is 0.7 FTE. However, additional schedule configurations up to 1.0 FTE are available/negotiable.

Akron Children’s Pediatric Radiology is a collegial, private practice style work environment with 15 pediatric radiologists (3 nighthawk pediatric radiologists, 3 pediatric neuroradiologists, 3 pediatric interventional radiologists, and 6 general pediatric radiologists).
This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
