Job description

MUST POSSESS A CERTIFIED PEER RECOVERY SUPPORTER LICENSE

11am -7pm or 12pm- 8pm

Duties

Must possess Peer Support Certification
Valid Drivers License
Provide support and guidance to individuals facing behavioral health challenges
Conduct motivational interviewing and peer support sessions to assist clients in making positive changes
Assist with crisis management and intervention when necessary
Collaborate with other licensed professionals, such as social workers and mental health counselors, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Utilize knowledge of addiction and mental health techniques to support clients in their recovery journey
Offer mentoring and guidance to individuals seeking to improve their overall well-being

Qualifications

Must possess Peer Support Certification

High school diploma / GED or a degree in a related field (e.g., case management, social work, psychology, counseling)

Experience working in behavioral health or related field preferred

Strong understanding of collaborative interventions and management techniques

Knowledge of motivational interviewing and behavioral health theories

Familiarity with addictions and mental health principles

Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with other professionals

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals in need

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Expected hours : 20 – 40 per week

Schedule : 4 hour shift

8 hour shift
