What are the responsibilities and job description for the Greenhouse Yard Operator position at Akron's Finest Mulch?
- Job Overview:
We are seeking a greenhouse yard operator! We are in need of someone who can help run our greenhouse and can also operate a loader in order to load our mulch/topsoil/gravel customers with a JCB wheel loader. In search of someone comfortable working directly with customers, capable of caring/watering greenhouse plants, and help out with general maintenance around the greenhouse yard. We hope this individual will be able to start as soon as possible! We are a seasonal business so during the months of May to November, we have many hours available! Looking for someone who is hands on and willing to wear different hats when it comes to job responsibilities.
Requirements:
-!!MUST KNOW HOW TO operate a loader in order to load our mulch/topsoil/gravel customers with a JCB wheel loader
- Previous experience working in a greenhouse, garden, or farm environment is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment effectively
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to work with hand tools and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Valid driver's license required.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
