AKRS Equipment is adding a Technical Training Coordinator to our amazing training team. In this position you will develop and facilitate training programs for our aftermarket teams with a heavy emphasis on technician development.

As a Technical Training Coordinator at AKRS you will:
- Build content and deliver training for our Tech Apprentice program
- Oversee John Deere University requirements and opportunities, and work with parts and service managers to schedule employees for training
- Become certified and instruct John Deere curated courses
- Identify training needs of parts and service departments through analysis and consultation with managers
- Develop and deliver training content that expands employees knowledge and skills to meet identified business needs
- Assess individual employees’ skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvement; work with managers to create action plans to address gaps
- Present information as needed and as time allows at technician recruitment events
Skills and Qualifications we are looking for include:
- 5 years’ experience with technician training and development within the ag equipment sector
- Demonstrated experience effectively coaching and developing others
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience developing training content preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours and to travel when needed
- The minimum of an Associate degree in related field required
