We’re looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team in our Tualatin, Oregon office. This role is part of a centralized group that supports our six office locations, so it’s a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative and high-performing team.
What You’ll Do
Process & Code: Accurately enter, code, and process accounts payable transactions and assist with asset management.
Problem Solve: Research and resolve reconciliation issues and track down discrepancies.
Analyze Data: Review and verify the accuracy of large volumes of accounting transactions—attention to detail is key!
Collaborate: Work closely with a variety of internal teams like billing, facilities, IT, marketing, and leadership.
Vendor Support: Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and provide timely, professional support.
Stay Organized: Help with clerical and general office duties like electronic and paper filing.
Jump In: Assist with month-end and year-end tasks, insurance paperwork, and special projects as needed.
Own It: Manage multiple deadlines and take responsibility for completing high-quality work on time.
Who You Are
You have 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
You’re a pro at Microsoft Office 365—especially Excel and Word.
You’re highly organized, efficient, and great at juggling competing priorities.
You’re a strong communicator—both in writing and over the phone.
You enjoy being part of a team and supporting others to get the job done.
You’re ready and willing to work on-site in a professional office environment.
You’re open to occasional overtime during busy times like month-end and year-end.
Nice to Have
A degree in accounting, business, or a related field
Familiarity with the A/E/C industry (architecture, engineering, construction)
Experience with BST10 or similar ERP/accounting software
Confidence working with large data sets and financial reporting
