Window Technician/Painter
Job Description
As a window technician/painter, you’ll be working on bringing historic windows (built mostly pre-1950) back to life. You’ll be responsible for restoring their operation, efficiency, and aesthetics. You’ll be taking old windows through the entire restoration process, from removing them from their openings, stripping sash, re-glazing, to re-installing sash with new weatherstripping. It’s a fun position where no two jobs are exactly alike. There’s a combination of field and shop work, but the primary restoration work takes place in the shop. Because we serve the region, some travel may be involved as well.
