Job Description

City : Burbank, CA Onsite / Hybrid / Remote : Remote, PST work hours

Duration : 24 months

Rate Range : $107 / hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)

Work Authorization : GC, USC, All valid EADs except H1b

Important to have :

1) Storage focused experience

2) Scripting : Powershell at minimum

3) Experience in production or post production environments

4) 10 years experience

About the Role :

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Senior Storage Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in architecting and designing multi-disciplinary storage systems across public / private cloud and on-premises environments. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in lean, agile, and collaborative teams, has deep expertise in production systems and large-scale data center infrastructure, and is committed to automation and infrastructure-as-code.

As a key contributor, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, influencing storage strategies, and implementing industry best practices for data lifecycle management. You will work closely with business stakeholders, senior leadership, and engineering teams to drive long-term strategic planning and ensure seamless, high-performance media storage solutions across all studios under the umbrella.

Responsibilities :

• Architect and design multi-disciplinary storage systems and policy standardization across public / private cloud and on-premises
• Gathering requirements from business stakeholders, senior leadership and engineering organizations for data lifecycle management
• Strategic long-term planning
• Provide technical leadership, analysis and top-notch diagrams and documentation for consumption by executives and engineers
• Identify & evangelize new technologies, patterns, solutions, and best practices
