Rate Range: upto $92.5/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)
Work Authorization: GC, USC, All valid EADs except H1b
About the Role:
The Senior Software Engineer will work on login and sign-up experiences, including account updates, legal agreements, and compliance. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting team members via code reviews.
- Implementing engineering tasks in a standard two-week sprint cycle.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, refinement, retros, etc.).
- Ensuring code quality and ownership from development to production.
- Observing and debugging production code using tools like DataDog, Sentry, and alert metrics.
- Handling context-switching, which have different repositories and standards.
Key Technical Skills
Must-Have:
- Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, React expertise.
- Proficiency in writing and testing high-quality code.
- Familiarity with observability tools like DataDog for monitoring production systems.
- Ability to work across different applications with varying tech stacks.
- Experience building out larger scale projects.
- unit and e2e testing experience
Tech Stack:
- React, TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL, Tailwind CSS.
- Heavy front-end focus with some interaction with backend teams.
- Understanding of backend systems is preferred but not mandatory.
Industry & Education Requirements
- Industry experience in authentication (client-side) is a plus but not required.
- A STEM degree is required.
Project Work & Migration Efforts
- 80% new development, 20% maintenance.
- Major focus on migrating legacy authentication flows into a unified system while maintaining user experience.
